It all starts with an idea

Based in The Hague, my studio practice is rooted in a fascination with light and its transformative effect on the landscape. Inspired by the sea, the dunes, and the changing rhythms of nature, I create abstract paintings that emerge from observation, memory, and intuition.

Working in acrylic and oil on canvas, I explore colour, contrast, and composition to capture fleeting impressions of the world around me. The studio is where I experiment and where light is translated to the canvas.
